It always goes back to the artist's albums. Regarding the specific issue you're mentioning, is it for local library Artists (you start with the Artists page with Library selected)? Following it, I've now implemented the save scroll position feature so that when going back to a local playlist/local library, it directly scrolls to the position you were before.
